UFC unveils plans for triple-header at T-Mobile Arena

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) mixed martial arts (MMA) series has requested permits to stage events on three consecutive days at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that organisers had signed a multi-year hosting rights agreement with the Nevada venue, which opened in April last year and this month staged its first UFC event.

The MMA series is hoping to build on this by staging three events at the venue from July 6-8 this year, in connection with International Fight Week.

Although organisers have yet to officially announce the events, the MMAjunkie.com website said that the ‘Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale’ could take place at the T-Mobile Arena on July 7, with UFC 213 set for the following day.

In addition, an event on July 6 is likely to be a ‘Fight Night’ card.

As part of its hosting rights agreement with the 20,000-capacity facility, the UFC benefits from concourse activations, signage and retail space.
