BD Stadia, William Hill add more football grounds to partnership

Stadium betting provider BD Stadia has signed a two-year partnership with bookmaker William Hill to further enhance the fan experience for football supporters in the UK.

William Hill and BD Stadia have successfully provided in-stadium betting at the grounds of Premier League clubs Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Chelsea.

The new partnership covers the grounds of fellow Premier League teams Huddersfield Town and Stoke City, along with second-tier Championship teams Preston North End and Queens Park Rangers, and third-tier League One outfit Bradford City.

Under the agreement, William Hill will provide betting booths, staff uniforms and the match-day coupon at the respective grounds, and will operate on the general concourses and hospitality suites and boxes inside the stadiums.

Fans that successfully bet on matches at the stadium will be able to collect their winnings from any of the more than 2,000 shops across the UK, or via a direct deposit to their William Hill account.

William Hill marketing director Kristian Welch said: “BD Sport have done an excellent job activating our stadium betting partnership rights with Chelsea, Everton and Spurs, and we are delighted to be able to extend our relationship with these new Premier League and EFL club deals.”

Tony Warwick, BD Sport Group’s joint managing director, added: “It’s exciting that William Hill have recognised the dynamic engagement our service provides on a match day at White Hart Lane and Stamford Bridge and are partnering with us to expand that across the country. We are extremely pleased to be working with them for the next two years and look forward to football fans collecting their winnings online and in shops.”
