Milwaukee Bucks sign latest arena sponsor

US-based brewery MillerCoors has signed up as the latest sponsor of NBA basketball team the Milwaukee Bucks’ new home arena, which is due to open next year.

The club has not released details of the deal, but MillerCoors joins BMO Harris, Johnson Controls and Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin as founding partners of the arena, which has been given the tentative name of the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center.

MillerCoors is an existing partner of the Bucks.

The deal comes after the team recently extended its long-running partnership with BMO Harris Bank. Under the agreement, the arena will feature a BMO Club, an all-inclusive, event-level club that offers unprecedented access with a direct connection to the player tunnel.

The deal will see a BMO Harris Bucks Debit Mastercard launch that allows fans to have a Bucks-branded debit card. Fans can use the card to receive discounts on merchandise, concession discounts, early entry to games and special events. The new arena will be adding new benefits for the card once it opens in September 2018.
