Cellairis wins naming rights for Lakewood Amphitheatre

Cellairis, a device repair and accessory company, has become the naming rights sponsor for the Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta, Georgia.

The multi-year agreement with Live Nation, the owner of the amphitheatre, will see the venue change its name to Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood.

The venue holds 19,000 people and hosts more than 20 concerts each season.

Since its launch in 2005, Cellairis has grown to more than 600 locations spanning over nine countries, with successful music partnerships in its history.

“Cellairis is excited to announce our partnership with Live Nation for the Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta, Georgia,” said Taki Skouras, chief executive and cofounder of Cellairis.

“Our company was founded in Atlanta and 25 of our retail stores, employees and corporate headquarters are proud to call this wonderful city our home, and we can now add the Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood to the Cellairis story. The climate is right to merge entertainment and retail, and we look forward to continuing to put our mark in Atlanta.”

A percentage of each ticket sold to concerts at Lakewood Amphitheatre benefits the Lakewood Community Fund. There has been more than $800,000 contributed so far, benefitting local organisations.

“The continued growth of Atlanta’s Midtown and Intown population has made Lakewood Amphitheatre more popular than ever,” said Peter Conlon, president of Live Nation Atlanta.

“We’re looking forward to our long-term partnership with Cellairis to integrate their brand into the excitement of live entertainment,” said Marc Abend, senior vice-president of Live Nation venue sales operations.

“Their local retail stores, industry leading accessories, and array of marketing opportunities make this sponsorship alliance a great fit, enabling them to reach, engage and connect with the passionate music fans at our venue.”
