Glasgow Warriors pens extension with whiskey partner

Scottish Top14 rugby union team Glasgow Warriors has renewed its partnership with Scotch whiskey brand Famous Grouse until at least May 2019.

The Famous Grouse Bothy will continue to work with the Warriors at the club’s Scotstoun Stadium home ground, providing guests with an exclusive matchday whisky and dining experience.

The team has been collaborating with Famous Grouse on match day hospitality for a number of years now and the new deal will extend this relationship into its ninth year.

Nathan Bombrys, managing director of the Warriors, said: “We are very proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Scotland’s favourite whisky. The Famous Grouse has played a big part over the years in creating the Glasgow Warriors experience at Scotstoun and beyond.

“We are excited that the Famous Grouse has chosen to extend their association with us, which will take us into our ninth year. We look forward to working with their team and building on our successful partnership.”

Scotstoun Stadium has served as home to the Warriors since the 2012-13 season, when the team opted to relocate from Firhill Stadium. The club previously used the 7,351-capacity Scotstoun Stadium as a training facility.
