Everton invites fan opinion on new stadium

English Premier League football club Everton is encouraging fans to take part in a survey to help shape the development of its new stadium in Bramley-Moore Dock.

The survey will feature a list of 51 questions, designed to establish what is most important to Everton fans and what they would like from the new venue.

Questions will focus around key design principles at the stadium, including the capacity, players’ tunnel and away supporter positions. The club is also keen to find out more about how fans travel to the team’s current Goodison Park home to see what transport features would be required at the new site.

In addition, the club will look at what fans want to see incorporated into the new facility, the features and activities they want around the stadium in the build up to kick-off, and the level of technology that could be incorporated on a matchday.

In a statement, the club said: “Goodison Park has been the home of the Blues for 125 years and the survey gives Evertonians the chance to have their say on what legacy could be left and how the site should be developed to contribute to the local community in a positive way.”

The survey is open to fans with an Everton customer number and will run until 5pm on February 23. To take the survey, click here.
