Esports Arena Las Vegas links up with HyperX

The newly-opened Esports Arena Las Vegas has named HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company, as its official peripheral and arena partner.

The deal will see the arena offer a premium gaming experience with state-of-the-art headsets, keyboards, mice and mousepads to be used during its tournaments, events and gaming stations. HyperX gaming peripherals will also be available in the arena’s merchandise store.

The arena, which is located on the Las Vegas Strip, opened its doors in March and is seeking to set new standards in the esports facility space.

The arena is situated at the Luxor Hotel & Casino and spans a total of 30,000 square feet. The venue features a competition stage, over 100 gaming stations, a two-storey video wall, telescopic seating, upper- and lower-level VIP gaming rooms, world-class production facilities and a first-of-its-kind gamer-inspired food and beverage offering.

“Our vision for Esports Arena Las Vegas was to create the ultimate interactive entertainment experience for casual and competitive gamers,” Simon Temperley, chief marketing officer of Allied Esports, said. “Providing HyperX peripherals to our customers and competitors will ensure we are offering an elite gaming experience that delivers superior performance to all in the arena.”

As part of the arena’s agreement with HyperX, players will wear Cloud Revolver headsets, use Cloud Alloy FPS keyboards with Cherry MX switches, and HyperX Pulsefire FPS mice with professional grade sensors and Omron switches for reliability.

“HyperX is proud to partner with Esports Arena at Luxor to bring a new premium and authentic gaming experience to Las Vegas,” Annie L. Gerard, HyperX’s strategic marketing manager, said. “Gamers and competitors will be experiencing the best in class comfort, quality and competitive advantage with the award-winning HyperX gaming gear.”
