English Championship football club Preston North End has agreed a deal for Heathcote&Co Deepdale to provide all catering, matchday hospitality and non-matchday event management at Deepdale, its home stadium.
The deal is effective from July 1. Preston said the partnership gives the club and Heathcote&Co the chance to build on the “already successful and catering management facilities” at Deepdale, which has a capacity of 23,000.
The club added that new “exciting initiatives” would be unveiled in the coming weeks as part of the agreement. The partnership will take the place of the existing arrangements provided by The Villa at North End, the club’s current exclusive caterer.
Heathcote&Co’s Paul Heathcote said: “I can remember back in 1997 when Preston North End gave us our first opportunity in stadium catering, we were very grateful then and grateful now, it feels like we are coming home.”
Preston finished the 2017-18 season in seventh, missing out on the play-offs by two points.
