Hampden Park, Scotland’s national football stadium in Glasgow, is set to open up its food offerings to include an array of vegan-friendly options.
Sodexo Sports & Leisure, the company which provides catering for events at Hampden Park, said it is planning to launch a vegan menu later this year.
This will come on the back of a vegan festival which will be held at the stadium on July 14.
Craig Younger, general manager for Sodexo Sports & Leisure at Hampden Park, said, according to the Glasgow Evening Times newspaper: “We’re looking forward to welcoming the Scotland Vegan Festival to Glasgow, and hope this will be the start of an ongoing relationship with Vegan Events UK.
“With plans to launch our own vegan menu later this year, I’m sure the day will also provide some great inspiration.”
