Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho has teamed up with World Soccer Coin to launch a new digital stadium solutions venture.
‘Ronaldinho Digital Stadiums’ will be developed in 300 locations, including Asia, the Middle East and Africa, over the course of the next three years. The stadiums will incorporate digital technologies such as blockchain, AI and VR.
The venture will feature the launch of Ronaldinho Super League, a tournament that will be made available to professional and amateur footballers. Players’ skills and abilities will be analysed and complied in a database that will be built using blockchain technologies.
Esports and betting services will also be provided, along with charitable donations through the ‘Smile Project’. Additionally, a payment system will be developed using blockchain technology, which WSC said will become a “core service which has worldwide availability and a high level of security”.
Construction plans have already been planned for more than 10 locations around the world, WSC said. A franchise chain system will be set up to spread the existence of the venues.
