A study carried out by the Mobile Sports Report website has found that 75% of major sports arenas are fitted with Wi-Fi.
The report, entitled the State of the Stadium Technology Survey 2016, gathered information from more than 90 sports venues across the US.
Mobile Sports Report found that the number of venues fitted with Wi-Fi continues to grow, with three quarters of respondents now featuring the technology.
The survey also found that 95% of the respondent venues are currently fitted with distributed antenna systems.
Mobile Sports Report surveyed teams from the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL and MLS. A number of major colleges, universities and entertainment venues also took part in the survey.
