Levi's Stadium commits to self-service technology

Levi’s Stadium has entered into a long-term partnership with machine-based technology solutions firm Qylur Intelligent Systems after the two parties carried out a successful soft launch of the latter’s technologies.

The 68,000-capacity stadium, which is the home of NFL American football team the San Francisco 49ers, trialed the use of the Qyaltron Entry Experience Solution last year.

The self-service entry system, which combines fan greeting, ticket-taking and bag security, was used during stadium tours and employee screening and will now be deployed at major sporting events and music concerts.

“Qylur and Levi's Stadium are demonstrating how connected smart machines can be the next step in the service of people,” Dr. Lisa Dolev, chief executive and founder of Qylur Intelligent Systems, said. “Our collaboration signals the start of a transformation in venue security and operations in the United States.

“For too long, organisations have had to make a trade-off between security and customer service, but Qylur's technology innovations help resolve this conflict. With the Qylatron, venues can improve operational efficiencies and tie guest experience and entry process together in a way that both makes security less invasive for attendees and fans, and creates new marketing value for the venue's brand.”

The system was also used during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil, and at football’s 2014 Fifa World Cup in the same country.
