Orlando City partners with Dimensional Innovations ahead of stadium move

Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise Orlando City has partnered with design firm Dimensional Innovations ahead of its move to a new stadium next year.

Dimensional Innovations’ services will be used to design and construct branded sponsor areas at the 25,500-capacity Orlando City Stadium, which the team will move into ahead of the 2017 MLS season.

The company is currently working on the Walt Disney World Gate area of the stadium, as well as the Audi suite and the MetroPCS Corner in the southwest corner of the ground’s inner bowl.

Dimensional Innovations will manage a sponsorship experience that complements both the Orlando City brand and those of the team’s sponsors.

“Our fans’ experience in our stadium is at the core of everything we do throughout all phases of this project,” Rob Parker, vice-president of corporate partnerships at Orlando City, said. “We partnered with Dimensional Innovations because of their vast experience and ability to keep our fans and partners top of mind through the design process of these crucial areas for fans.”

Justin Wood, principal and practice director at Dimensional Innovations, added: “The early vision for aligning the club's brand and the sponsors' brands will allow for a seamless integration into the building; really allowing the activations to elevate the fan experience. The partners in the stadium are absolutely perfect to connect to the MLS and club demographic, and tell a great story about Orlando soccer.”

Orlando City last month confirmed that it had sold out its allocation of 18,000 season tickets ahead of its stadium move.
