US-based United Airlines has agreed to become a founding partner of the Chase Center, the new home of North American NBA basketball team the Golden State Warriors.
The under-construction facility is due to open in 2019 and will have a capacity of 18,000. Chase Center will replace the Oracle Arena as the Warriors’ home.
In addition to serving as a founding partner of the new arena, United Airlines will become the official airline of the franchise and benefit from branding placement inside the Oracle Arena and Chase Center.
Rick Welts, president and chief operating officer of the Warriors, said: “Adding United Airlines as a founding partner of Chase Center continues to show our commitment to building and operating a world-class sports and entertainment facility in San Francisco.”
