Salisbury University in the US has appointed Daktronics to design, manufacture and install a new LED video display and sound system at its Sea Gull Stadium facility.
The video board features a 15HD pixel layout and is capable of zoning, which allows it to show one large image or be divided into various areas to show any combination of live video, instant replays, scoring and statistical information, graphics and animations, and sponsorship messages.
Sea Gull Stadium regularly hosts American football and lacrosse matches, as well as a series of other special events.
Matt Groves, project manager at Salisbury University, said: “The video board and integral sound system installation surpassed my expectations. It took our previous scoreboard and sound system and elevated them into the 21st century. They now match the calibre of our athletic teams and the facility that they play in.”
