The Atlanta Falcons NFL American football franchise has brokered over $900m (€845.9m/£720.8m) worth of sponsorship deals for its new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Citing data gathered by Sports Business Journal, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution said that total places the team just short of its original goal of $1bn in contracted, sponsorship revenue.
The franchise has secured a series of long-term deals at the site, including a 27-year naming rights deal with vehicle manufacturer Mercedes-Benz, while other agreements run for at least 10 years.
Brands that have signed up to support the new facility include Coca-Cola, IBM, Novelis, SunTrust Banks and Home Depot.
