Aspire hits $1m sales milestone for HBCU clients

The Aspire Group recently hit $1m (£793,000/€932,000) in total new ticket sales revenue for its historically black colleges and universities (HBCU) client base in North America.

Aspire is a global sports and entertainment marketing company that specialises in enhancing client partners’ ticket revenue streams and filling stadia while improving fan engagement and customer service.

Aspire’s National Sales Center provides remote ticket sales support for HBCU clients.

The group’s involvement in the HBCU community began in 2013 with a partnership with Urban Sports & Entertainment Group to provide remote ticket sales support for Honda Battle of the Bands. Aspire has also worked with basketball and American football events.

“HBCU is a proud community with a rich history and passion for live sports and entertainment,” group founder and chairman Bernie Mullin said.

“We are excited to launch this initiative to support schools with attendance growth, revenue enhancement, and improved fan satisfaction.

“This specialisation will give HBCU programmes the ability to provide their fans with the same level of customer service and gameday experience that is now expected for all sport and entertainment events. When fans feel they are being invested in, it makes all the difference in the longevity of the fan’s commitment to the brand.”
