LAFC reveals new stadium renderings

Major League Soccer expansion franchise Los Angeles FC has released new renderings of its under-construction stadium.

The team will enter the North American competition next year and will play at the 22,000-seat Banc of California Stadium.

Last month the first concrete slabs were laid at the site following several weeks of demolition and excavation work.

Over 130 concrete trucks were used to pour the initial 1,300 cubic yards of concrete needed to form the foundation of the $350m (£278m/€330m) facility.

LAFC was formed in October 2014 and lists actor Will Ferrell and former NBA basketball star Magic Johnson among its financial backers.
