Sporting KC lower food and beverage costs for 2017 season

Major League Soccer franchise Sporting Kansas City has decreased the price of a variety of food and beverage items at its Children’s Mercy Park stadium for the 2017 season.

In conjunction with the club’s food and beverage operating partner, Legends Hospitality, the cost of bottled water, carbonated drinks and beer has been lowered by an average of 20 per cent since 2016.

Other items subject to the price decrease include margaritas, double cocktails and menu items such as hot dogs, bratwursts, chips and grilled cheese sandwiches.

In addition to the price changes at Children’s Mercy Park, a new Chicken-N-Taters restaurant stand has replaced Guy’s Bar-B-Que Joint at the concourse concession in the northeast corner of the venue.

Sporting KC is due to play FC Dallas in its home opener on Saturday March 11with a limited number of tickets still remaining via the team’s primary and secondary ticketing partner SeatGeek.

The franchise partnered with the ticket marketplace last summer and it has already drawn in more mobile-based purchases, more new buyers and a higher sales volume overall.
