MLB’s Milwaukee Brewers toast new tailgate bar

North American Major League Baseball franchise the Milwaukee Brewers is to open a new bar facility in a parking lot at its Miller Park home.

According to local news outlet CBS58, the ‘Brew Crew Bar’ will be placed in the Yount Lot on the east side of the ballpark and will be available to the general public for approximately 40 games in 2017.

The facility will be open for three hours before Brewers home games, with fans to benefit from multiple bars, lounge furniture, outdoor heaters, tailgate games and phone chargers.

In addition, the Brew Crew Bar will feature a number of premium suite options, such as rooftop viewing platforms and satellite television. The facility, which can accommodate up to 150 guests, will be available for private group hire at certain games.

Rick Schlesinger, chief operating officer for the Brewers, said: “We are always looking to elevate the Miller Park fan experience, and that starts with the pregame tailgating. The new Brew Crew Bar takes this experience to a new level, with features that will appeal to the many Brewers fans who embrace the tailgating that is a staple at Miller Park.”
