US communications services provider Frontier Communications has agreed a deal to become a founding partner of the StubHub Center, home of Major League Soccer team LA Galaxy.
Frontier brokered the multi-year agreement with the AEG Global Partnerships division of Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), which owns and operates the venue.
The company will benefit from branding on premium signage inside the facility, which, from the 2017 season, will also be home to NFL American football team the Los Angeles Chargers for two years until the Los Angeles Stadium opens in 2019.
In addition, the agreement includes an official partnership with the LA Kings, an NHL ice hockey franchise owned by AEG. Frontier will work with the team on a host of brand-tailored activations throughout the NHL season.
“We are thrilled to be a sponsor and community partner of the Kings and StubHub Center,” Frontier’s senior vice-president of customer operations, Joe Gamble, said.
“Our partnership with the LA Kings and StubHub Center helps further strengthen our ties to Southern California customers and the business community.”
Robert Vartan, senior director, global partnerships at AEG, added: “Frontier’s vision and commitment to their customers and the community at large clearly aligns with our vision, making this partnership a natural fit.”
