The Yuengling & Son brewery has agreed to become the new official beer partner of the Philadelphia Phillies and the Major League Baseball team’s Citizens Bank Park home ground.
In a release, Yuengling said that the deal includes branding placement at various surfaces inside the franchise’s ballpark, with signage to promote its Yuengling Traditional Lager flagship beer product.
Yuengling also said fans will be able to purchase its Yuengling Traditional Lager, Light Lager and Black & Tan on draft and in cans during Phillies home games at Citizens Bank Park.
The Morning Call newspaper said that the franchise did not immediately respond to a request for further comment on the deal.
However, Dave Buck, senior vice-president of marketing and advertising sales at the Phillies, said: “Like the Phillies, Yuengling has a long history in Pennsylvania. It’s a natural synergy — and a great addition to the ballpark’s off-the-field lineup.”
