Spanish LaLiga football club Atlético Madrid has partnered with technology brand LG Electronics in a move designed to enhance the fan experience at the Wanda Metropolitano, the team’s new stadium.
Under the agreement, LG’s professional displays, televisions and outdoor signage solutions will be installed around the 70,000-seat venue.
The company’s LG Partner 360 division will ensure the stadium is equipped with state-of-the-art technological solutions to maximise the experience for spectators.
Atlético has already partnered with Philips Lighting, part of the Philips technology group, to launch a premium lighting solution at the new ground, which the club will move into next season.
The Wanda Metropolitano will replace the Estadio Vicente Calderon as Atlético’s home. Atlético revealed the name of the new facility in November as part of an agreement with Dalian Wanda, the Chinese conglomerate which owns a 20 per cent stake in the club.
