Little Caesars Arena signs up hospitality partner

Delaware North Sportservice, which is part of hospitality and foodservice provider Delaware North, has been named as the food, beverage and retail partner at Little Caesars Arena, the future home of NHL ice hockey franchise the Detroit Red Wings and NBA basketball team the Detroit Pistons.

Delaware North Sportservice will provide concessions at more than 50 fixed and portable stands, premium dining services in five club areas, 24 loge boxes, 62 suites and two rows of gondola seating. The company will also operate a team store, as well as a restaurant and bar.

The partnership further cements Delaware North Sportservice’s presence in Detroit, with the company also serving as the food, beverage and retail provider of Comerica Park, home of the city’s Major League Baseball team, the Tigers.

Food and beverages on offer at Little Caesars Arena will include fresh fruit and vegetables courtesy of the District Market Express, locally-sourced beers and hand-carved sandwiches.

The 20,000-seat venue is due to open in September and will also host entertainment shows, concerts and community events.
