Monster Jam to debut in Singapore

For the first time ever, Monster Jam, the most-action packed live event on four wheels, will be bringing adrenaline-charged family entertainment to Singapore on August 19.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Monster Jam is the supreme family experience, thrilling more than four million fans annually over the course of 350 performances.

With its Singaporean debut, this epic extravaganza, which combines championship racing and jaw-dropping freestyle action, will have been seen in 28 countries throughout the world.

“Monster Jam has been delighting families around the world with its adrenaline-packed entertainment for over 25 years. We know Singaporeans are adopters of new, exciting entertainment and have no doubt we can fill the appetite,” said Magnus Danielsson, vice president of International Motorsports for Feld Entertainment Inc., owner of Monster Jam.

“Singapore represents a seminal moment in the international growth of Monster Jam, and success here is critical to our expansion in Southeast Asia. We now have an opportunity to showcase our brand in one of the premier venues in the entire region, the Singapore National Stadium.”

The Monster Jam production at the National Stadium will be the largest in Southeast Asia featuring 10 Monster Jam superstars such as the legendary Grave Digger, fan favourite Monster Mutt Dalmatian, the raging bull El Toro Loco, and 11-time World Champion MaxD TM, to name a few.

Before the competitions begin, audiences have the chance to attend the ultimate fan experience, the Pit Party. This pre-show event gives Monster Jam enthusiasts the chance to walk the track, meet their favourite Monster Jam athletes, get autographs and have an up-close and personal look at the Monster Jam trucks. Fans can also purchase official Monster Jam merchandise.

“The Singapore Sports Hub is delighted to host an exciting spectacle the likes of which have never been seen before in Singapore, when Monster Jam makes its debut at the National Stadium in August,” said Oon Jin Teik, acting chief executive officer for Singapore Sports Hub.

“As a one of a kind unique family entertainment experience, Monster Jam adds to the vibrant repertoire of sports, concerts and other unique events that we are developing as a premier destination for sports, entertainment and lifestyle pursuits.”

The Pit Party pre-event experience is open from 2pm to 6pm. The main event will start at 7pm and promises electrifying performances for the whole family in Monster Jam racing and freestyle competitions. Plus, fans will also be thrilled by the high-flying acrobatics of freestyle motor-cross.

Tickets for the one-night event will be available to the general public from May 29 at 9am, affordably priced from S$25 (€16/£14/$18), S$45, S$65, and S$85, and S$120 for adults; and S$30, S$50, and S$70 for children.

To enjoy the Pit Party, fans can add on a S$10 Pit Pass for the full day of fun. For group bookings of 10 or more customers can save 10 per cent on Category A and B tickets. Tickets will go on sale from May 29 and will be available on www.sportshubtix.com.sg.
