John Smith’s Stadium, the home of Huddersfield Town, which recently gained promotion to the English Premier League top-tier club football competition, has signed up hospitality company Kudos as its new catering partner.
The partnership represents a joint venture between the venue, the football club, stadium operator KSDL, and Huddersfield Giants, the rugby league team that also plays its home matches at the stadium.
According to the Bdaily website, Kudos will provide a new catering offering at the venue, which, aside from sport, regularly hosts entertainment, business conferencing and networking events.
Gareth Davies, managing director of KSDL, said: “This relationship isn’t an outside caterer, this relationship will be a true partnership where all the stakeholders of this fantastic stadium have a say in the future of the service we offer to our customers.”
Kudos takes over as the stadium’s official partnership role from Sodexo.
Charles Beer, senior partner at Kudos, added: “We are genuinely excited to be starting this partnership with Huddersfield Town, the Giants and KSDL at a Stadium that offers so much across the year to the region.”
