Lancashire County Cricket Club has signed a rolling contract with workforce management tool TimeTarget, through which it will use its Humanforce software to manage workforce requirements at Emirates Old Trafford, the team’s home stadium.
TimeTarget’s solutions will manage the expanding labour resource at the ground, which is scheduled to host two international cricket matches this year when England take on South Africa in August and the West Indies in September. The ground will also stage the T20 Blast match between Lancashire Lightning and Yorkshire Vikings in three weeks’ time.
The venue recently staged the One Love Manchester pop concert, which was organised to raise money for those affected by the terror attack at Manchester Arena last month. Emirates Old Trafford also played host to indie rock band The Courteeners recently and is due to stage a third high-profile gig on July 4 when Radiohead visits Manchester.
The venue’s new 150-bed Hilton Garden Inn will also open later this summer and stadium staff will use TimeTarget’s new Humanforce solution to better manage the increased workforce requirements.
Rhian King, financial controller at Lancashire CCC, said: “We’re looking forward to start working with TimeTarget over the next 12 months and beyond.
“After meeting with them, we believed that their solution was the only one we felt could cover both the day-to-day operations at Emirates Old Trafford including hotel management for when our Hilton Garden Inn opens later this summer, but then up scale for our peak events with software specifically designed for stadium venues.”
