Betting company to sponsor stand at Kingsholm Stadium

Online bookmaker 21Bet has entered into a partnership with English Premiership Rugby club Gloucester, through which it will take on naming rights to a stand at the team’s Kingsholm Stadium.

The deal names 21Bet as Gloucester’s official betting partner for the 2017-18 season.

Kingsholm Stadium’s West Terrace stand will now be known as the 21Bet Terrace as part of the deal.

Under the agreement, supporters will be given a bonus price of 7-1 for Gloucester to finish in the top six of the Premiership during the 2017-18 season. Only new customers will be eligible and bets will be capped at £5.

21Bet chief executive Richard Hogg said: “Our whole ethos is based around being passionate about sports and no club exhibits that in rugby quite like the Cherry and Whites. It’s great to be partnered with a team who share our ambition as well as our appetite and drive for growth and success. We look forward to a long and successful collaboration.”

Gloucester’s commercial director Mike Turner added: “We’ve spoken to a number of potential betting partners, and are pleased to announce the new relationship with 21Bet. We believe 21Bet offer a great solution for supporters who like to bet online and are looking forward to working with them.”
