Elan Inventa showcases new telescopic 2,000-seat stand

Slovenian sports venue designer Elan Inventa has installed a high-quality 2,000-seat telescopic stand in the new multifunctional congress hall in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The company showcased its new stand at the Expo 2018 event that hosted more than 100 different countries. Elan Inventa is exhibiting at TheStadiumBusiness Design and Development Summit in Barcelona from November 27 to 29.

The stand consists of five blocks, each with 20 rows of platforms, two inner tunnels, LED lighting on the stairs and tunnels, as well as safety railings with a poly-carbonate filler.

The platforms are securely upholstered and every chair is decked out with comfortable padding.

The handy telescopic mechanism of the stand allows the venue to cater to a wide array of events. Any platform can be completely folded against the hall wall, providing additional space for events that may need it.

The process of putting the stand in place took Elan Inventa two months as stand components were delivered by 14 trucks and assembled by a ground team from the company.

In addition, the stand at the event included special platforms to host VIP visitors, such as the Spanish King Felipe VI and UN Secretary General António Gutteres, at the opening ceremony. It also welcomed 25 heads of state and government from Kazakhstan, China, Russia, India and Pakistan.
