49ers unveil fan enhancements at Levi’s Stadium

NFL American football franchise the San Francisco 49ers has unveiled details of a series of fan-experience enhancements at Levi’s Stadium ahead of the start of the new season.

The improvements will seek to provide greater value for its SBL members.

In-stadium SBL member discount will increase from 10 per cent to 15 per cent during games, while new restaurant concepts including Starbird Chicken, The Organic Coup, Off The Grid food trucks, Red Rooster tacos, Oren’s Hummus Shop and Shalimar will also be offered.

Frozen yoghurts will also be made available, along with a range of free snacks such as popcorn and sweets. Fan rewards will be enhanced, while the team will also begin rolling its own app and the Levi’s Stadium app into the same service.

“Heading into the fourth year of Levi’s Stadium, the 49ers have invested in close to 100 improvements to the venue and our fan experience, in particular that of our SBL Members,” said 49ers president Al Guido.

“The changes range from stadium and parking design, to entry and concessions, to mobile app and loyalty, and much more. We take all fan feedback seriously and prioritise the changes they want most and those that would make the most impact. We’ll never stop trying in our quest to have the best fan experience in the NFL.”

The team has implemented the changes after gathering feedback from supporters through surveys, focus groups and terminals placed throughout Levi’s Stadium. Fans gave their views on areas such as concessions, gates, parking lots, bathrooms and guest services. The 49ers said more than 132,000 pieces of fan feedback were gathered over the last year.
