Burnley names Bowland Brewery as official fan zone sponsor

English Premier League football club Burnley has announced Bowland Brewery as the official sponsor of the new fan zone at its Turf Moor home ground.

The newly renovated fan zone, located in the main car park at the stadium, is set to officially open during Burnley’s opening home game of the season against West Bromwich Albion on August 19.

Under the agreement, Bowland Brewery will provide Lancashire cask ales to Burnley fans, including Hen Harrier, Pheasant Plucker, Boxer Blonde and Buster IPA.

The Clitheroe-based company’s signature bus will also be parked up on site.

Warren Bennett, Bowland Brewery managing director, said: “We are a community-based Lancastrian company and proud to be part of the Burnley family going forward as sponsors of the fan zone.

“We’re delighted to get behind Sean Dyche and the team and wish the Clarets all the best for the new Premier League season.”

In addition, the new fan zone will feature a bar with a glass viewing gallery, and a wood-fired pizza oven will be added along with a big screen showing live football games. The revamped section will also host community activities for children.

Chris Gibson, Burnley’s head of catering, said: “The fan zone has become the go-to meeting place for fans in recent years.

“The addition of Bowland Brewery’s quality products will take this area to the next level. Our fan zone is renowned for local real ales and our discerning fan base will be more than happy with the quality products on offer.”
