Seahawks boost fan experience at CenturyLink Field

NFL American football team the Seattle Seahawks has revealed details of a new initiative to enhance the experience of fans at its CenturyLink Field home stadium.

Last season, the Seahawks and CenturyLink Field ranked first in the NFL’s ‘Voice of the Fan’ survey for gameday experience. The team has now moved to carry out a series of upgrades to the stadium in an effort to retain its place at the top of the rankings this year.

Enhancements for the coming season include First & Goal Hospitality, which, developed in partnership with First & Goal, will manage and operate general concessional and premium dining facilities at CenturyLink Field.

Visitors to the stadium this season will have access to various new offerings and menus at in-venue facilities, such as the Stadium Street Market, Night Market, Tapped & Corked and Papa John’s Pizza. Such facilities will be open at Seahawks home games and other events at the stadium.

Other improvements at CenturyLink Field include a 32 per cent increase in the number of toilet fixtures in men’s restrooms on the upper level, as well as a 59 per cent hike in the south end of the upper level. In total, 79 additional toilet fixtures have been added in men’s and women’s restrooms in the upper level.

The franchise has also moved to upgrade various video and audio elements in the stadium, including switching primary video boards to high definition, adding live video display capabilities to digital hustle boards, increasing the number of camera feeds from eight to 16 and adding four new speakers in the corners of the upper deck.

In addition, in-stadium Wi-Fi has been improved to offer fans faster and easier connection.
