Scotstoun Stadium lands latest stand sponsor

Safety consultancy CDM Scotland has agreed a deal to sponsor a stand at Scotstoun Stadium, home of Scottish Pro14 rugby union club the Glasgow Warriors.

The CDM Scotland East Stand will feature the company’s name and logo for the duration of the 2017-18 season.

The deal was signed ahead of the Warriors’ first home game of the season against Welsh team Ospreys on Saturday.

Nathan Bombrys, the Warriors’ managing director, said: “It’s great that CDM Scotland have chosen to work with Glasgow Warriors to help build their profile.

“We welcome CDM Scotland on board as another new sponsor of the club and we look forward to working closely with them this season.

“Their brand on the roof of the CDM Scotland East Stand will be clearly visible to our supporters on match days as well as viewers watching our games on television around the world.”

Mark Cook, CDM Scotland’s managing director, added: “We are proud to support Glasgow Warriors who demonstrate the same passion and drive for success as CDM Scotland.

“We are privileged to have our logo on the CDM Scotland East Stand and we look forward to a long and successful partnership with Glasgow Warriors.”

The partnership comes after Scottish law firm Harper McLeod last week took on naming rights to the West Stand at Scotstoun Stadium as part of an expanded partnership with the club. The stand will be known as the Harper McLeod West Stand as part of the agreement.

Harper McLeod’s partnership with the Warriors marked the first time a company has sponsored a stand at the 6,600-capacity Scotstoun Stadium.
