Events at Vitality Stadium receive boost from Verteda tech

Cloud and on-premises IT solutions provider Verteda has linked up with Black Label Events, the hospitality provider for English Premier League football club AFC Bournemouth.

The partnership will see Verteda’s eVents500 software system support the provider to deliver a streamlined service during and after events at the team’s Vitality Stadium home ground, while also helping to boost revenue.

“We chose Verteda based on its reputation in the industry for working with other stadiums, plus recommendations from customers using eVents500, including Southhampton FC,” said Diane Rackley, Black Label Events.

Prior to the new agreement, Rackley and her team used a manual paper-based approach which was laborious and often prone to human error. The eVents500 solution has sped up the processes for providing quotes, managing, billing and re-booking meetings and events, improving accuracy and eliminating duplication of data entry while providing new business reports.

“We’re a small team,” Rackley said, “and eVents500 is like having your own personal assistant, always up-to-date and on the ball. It remembers everything, guides you, and enables you to manage the whole process. We save time and resources, delivering improved service while reducing manpower requirements.”

Conferences, meetings and matchday venues in Vitality Stadium include Champions Top Floor Restaurant, which holds 200 guests, Bubbles Champagne Lounge, 14 VIP hospitality boxes, Balfour Suite, which holds up to 300 guests, MacAlister suite and the Boardroom. Black Label Events is also responsible for the food service in the concourse areas.

Rackley added: “eVents500 means we respond to enquiries and provide quotes far more quickly and professionally. Potential customers are clearly impressed, it gives them confidence, so we’re winning more business: higher revenues with more confirmed booking. And we’re just getting started. eVents500 has far more to offer, in terms of analytics, to better support our business.

Matthew Prosser, sales director for Verteda said: “With conferences, events and meetings an increasingly important part of the mix for stadia and arenas, the innovation and professionalism that eVents500 brings have been demonstrated time and time again.”

Verteda are sponsoring and will be showcasing at TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Summit 2017, 28-29 November, Barcelona.
