LG links up with English FA

Consumer electronics manufacturer LG has signed a partnership deal with the English Football Association (FA).

The three-year agreement spans across the FA Cup, Wembley Stadium, the England men’s national football team and St. George’s Park.

Under the agreement, LG will benefit from brand exposure in all rounds of the FA Cup, which is distributed in more than 150 countries and with a domestic audience of more than 27 million last season.

The FA will benefit from LG’s technology creating a better fan experience, while Wembley Stadium will be fitted with LG’s ultra-premium LG Signature range of home entertainment and home appliance products within Club Wembley.

LG will also be the official digital screen partner of the England men’s teams, supplying digital screens at Wembley Stadium as well as at its premier training facility, St George’s Park.

LG UK marketing director, Carolyn Anderson, said: “We are really excited to have secured exclusive rights with the FA in a partnership that we believe will be a collaborative effort across the next three years.
