CSM Live wins branding contract for Wembley Stadium

CSM Live has signed a three-year contract to design, produce, install and remove branding in and around Wembley Stadium in London, England.

Part of Chime Communications, the event branding and live experience specialist began its new role ahead of two recent England national football team games at the venue. CSM Live prepared Wembley for England’s friendly matches against Brazil and Germany.

Aside from England home games, the deal will cover the semi-finals and final of the FA Cup knockout club competition, as well as the FA Community Shield pre-season game and the FA Non League Finals Day.

CSM Live will focus on branding at the venue but also has the ability to enhance the fan experience through various creative technology and innovations, such as the digital and LED offerings, as well as innovations that enable measurement of fan engagement.

Alastair Bewick, chief executive of CSM Live, said: “Wembley Stadium is one of, if not the most famous stadia in the world and so for CSM Live, this is an opportunity that we are very proud and excited to take on.”

Wembley has been England’s national stadium since 1923, although the current venue, which stands on the site of the original stadium, only opened its doors in March 2007.

In addition to football, Wembley is regularly used to stage various other major sporting events, as well as live concerts. Incidentally, although the venue has a total seating capacity of 90,000, its record attendance of 142,500 was set in July 2016 at a Beyoncé concert.
