Five-pound tickets are on sale for every home and away fan to celebrate Championship football team Reading’s 500th fixture at its Madejski Stadium home ground.
The club’s final home fixture of 2017 on December 23 is against Burton Albion. All four stands will be open to supporters for 500p or £5 ($6.62/€5.64) to observe ‘Madejski 500’.
Reading moved to its current home in August 1998 and christened the venue with a 3-0 win against Luton Town. The club said in a statement that its era at Madejski Stadium has been “by far the most successful in Reading’s 146-year story so far.”
