On-demand coach company Zeelo has launched a new luxury coach service in the UK that will allow fans to travel to sporting and music events in style.
‘ZeeloLUX’ customers will enjoy a host of benefits on board the coaches, such as a selection breakfast nibbles and snacks, as well as a glass of bubbly on arrival at their venue. The ZeeloLUX executive coaches also feature leather seats, tables, WiFi and toilets.
The first coaches will hit the road next month, when the ZeeloLUX customers can enjoy luxury travel to major horseracing event the Cheltenham Festival, which runs from March 13-16. A return coach service will also be provided to racing fans.
Barney Williams, co-founder of Zeelo, said: “While the Cheltenham races are synonymous with luxury, getting to and from the racecourse can be a cramped and longwinded affair.
“With ZeeloLUX we are able to offer passengers two of life’s most important luxuries, time and legroom. No more standing in someone’s armpit on the train or having to drive, we take you right to the race course with a drink in hand.”
Zeelo plans to build on this launch event by also rolling out ZeeloLUX coaches for a number of other major sporting events later in the year, such as Ascot racing and the Henley Royal Regatta.
Williams added: “We are currently working with thousands of coach operators up and down the country to reinvent the way groups travel and provide hundreds of luxury coaches for fans to major events. If our partners are successful, then we are successful.
