New images reveal progress at Tottenham’s stadium

Tottenham Hotspur’s new home stadium is moving closer to completion after a number of new images were released showing progress on the project.

The English Premier League football club published images on its website to show how decorative tiling, featuring the team’s bespoke font, is being installed on the outside of the stadium.

Tiling will appear on each of the six cores at the venue in a move that Spurs said will pay homage to its heritage and core values.

In addition, tiled on the East Atrium will be an excerpt from a famous quote from former captain Danny Blanchflower ‘The GAME IS ABOUT GLORY’ and ‘LONDON N17’, representing the team’s home city and postcode.

Meanwhile, a host of other images have been released to show how the stadium will ‘glow’ once complete.

In a similar set up to the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, some glass panels that have been installed around the stadium will features LED lights that will shine on matchdays. According to the Daily Mail newspaper, 170 panels will have the lights fitted.
