Lord’s extends with cider partner

Lord’s cricket ground in London has renewed its partnership with cider brand Stowford Press.

Under the new two-year deal, Stowford Press, which is made by Westons Cider, will continue to serve as the official cider partner of Lord’s.

Westons will continue to serve its Stowford Press Cider at all international and domestic matches at Lord’s, along with other events at the stadium.

Stowford Press is a sponsor of the ‘Thursdays Just Got Better’ campaign at Lord’s during Middlesex’s home matches in the Vitality Blast Twenty20 competition. The campaign gives fans the chance to win a prize hamper.

Stowford Press will also receive signage and hospitality at Lord’s as part of the deal, which it signed with the Marylebone Cricket Club, owner of Lord’s.

Jon Robinson, MCC assistant secretary (commercial), said: “It is fantastic to secure Stowford Press as our official cider partner as we prepare to embark on another international summer at Lord’s. Stowford Press has been supportive of the initiatives that we have put in place at Lord’s and we look forward to continuing to our work with them.

“I am sure that our visitors to Lord’s, whether it be for international cricket or a non-matchday event, will be pleased to see Stowford Press as well as other Westons’ products being served at the bars and in the restaurants around the ground.”
