AEG renews casino deal for LA properties

AEG has extended its partnership with San Manuel Casino, through which the latter’s presence will be further established across a host of Southern California sites.

The new deal takes the two parties’ relationship to 10 years and covers L.A. Live, Staples Center and StubHub Center, along with NHL ice hockey team the LA Kings, Major League Soccer franchise LA Galaxy and the Ontario Reign, the Kings’ affiliate team.

San Manuel Casino will seek to offer patrons a one-stop destination for gaming, dining and entertainment.

San Manuel Casino will continue to benefit from premium designations at Staples Center through the San Manuel Club, and at StubHub Center’s new San Manuel Platinum Club.

“Through our partnership with AEG we will continue to provide our guests exclusive access to world-class sports and entertainment events in Southern California, including the Inland Empire communities,” San Manuel Casino general manager Loren Gill said.

“We are excited our guests will have a chance to be part of thrilling moments both on the casino floor and while watching our partner teams and entertainment offerings at these iconic venues.”

Russell Silvers, chief operating officer of AEG Global Partnerships, added: “Both San Manuel Casino and AEG are known as mainstays of the Southern California entertainment community. Over the past nine years, we’ve been able to build our relationship with them across some of our most iconic sports and entertainment assets in Los Angeles as well as through a variety of charitable initiatives.

“We look forward to continuing our work together, deepening our ties to San Manuel Casino and the communities we both serve.”
