LAFC shows its hand with casino deal

North American Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) has entered into a new partnership with San Manuel Casino.

Under the deal, San Manuel Casino will sponsor a private club and loge box seating area at the team’s Banc of California Stadium.

The City View Club presented by San Manuel Casino offers a premium view of the playing area at the venue, as well as scenic views of Downtown Los Angeles.

San Manuel Casino will also present in pre-match Fan Fest activation experiences and post-game highlights via in-stadium “Thrill of the Match” broadcasts, as well as activate unique experiences for fans.

The agreement covers all LAFC home matches during the 2018 season as well as all other events at the Banc of California Stadium throughout this period.

Tom Penn, owner and president of LAFC, said: “San Manuel Casino shares our Club’s philosophy of delivering a first-class entertainment experience to the Southern California community.”

Based in Southern California, San Manuel Casino also recently opted to extend its partnership AEG, in a deal that covers a number of venues in the region including L.A. Live, Staples Center and StubHub Center.

The AEG agreement also includes NHL ice hockey team the LA Kings, MLS outfit LA Galaxy and the Ontario Reign, the Kings’ affiliate team.
