US on-demand ridesharing service Lyft has entered into a partnership with the Marina Auto Stadium, the home of United Soccer League team the Rochester Rhino, in Rochester, New York.
Lyft will serve as the venue’s official rideshare partner for the 2018-19 season, with patrons that travel to and from the football-specific facility to benefit from various discount promotions.
People attending events at the Marina Auto Stadium can use the promotional code ‘ROCMARINA’ to receive $20 (€16.91/£14.86) in free ride credit. The offer is only available to new Lyft users.
In addition, as part of the deal, a dedicated Lyft pick-up and drop-off zone will be available on Smith Street, near to the stadium’s main entrance gates.
David and Wendy Dworkin, co-owners of the Rochester Rhinos and operators of the Marina Auto Stadium, said: “Ridesharing is a new convenient way for our guests to arrive to the stadium to experience our event.
“We couldn’t ask for a better partner than Lyft to offer safe and reliable transportation to and from stadium events for our attendees.”
