Bristol Rovers continue improvement work at Memorial Stadium

English League One football club Bristol Rovers has detailed the latest phase of improvements to its Memorial Stadium.

Following a fan survey that was completed last season, Rovers has moved to develop a new clubhouse bar as part of ongoing efforts to enhance the matchday experience.

Work on the new bar is currently underway. It will focus on opening up the space around the bar, installing an island bar in the middle, providing a view of the pitch from all areas of the bar and significantly increasing capacity on a matchday.

Work is scheduled to be completed before the start of the 2018-19 season. Bristol Rovers has played at the Memorial Stadium, which first opened in 1921, since 1996.

The club has focused on making improvements to its current home of late having been knocked back in efforts to develop a new stadium.
