RFU signs partner for new Twickenham hospitality venture

England Rugby Hospitality, a new venture launched by the Rugby Football Union (RFU), has agreed a partnership with the Rugby Players’ Association (RPA).

Under the agreement, the players’ union will serve as the official supplier of match day talent to England Rugby Hospitality, with current and former rugby stars to attend games starting from the autumn’s International Series.

England Rugby Hospitality is the official hospitality experience at Twickenham stadium for England internationals and is sold exclusively by the RFU and long-standing partner Keith Prowse.

Twickenham’s East Stand will be expanding to include four new and exclusive facilities. Joining the existing Rugby House and lower and upper tier executive boxes, the new Rose Garden, The Gate, The Lock and The East Wing will seek to enhance Twickenham match days.

The facilities will extend existing hospitality, bringing new world-class, suite-to-seat experiences, combining high level dining with watching the rugby.

“Offering our clients the opportunity to rub shoulders with rugby legends will only enhance the world class hospitality experience on offer at Twickenham Stadium,” RFU chief executive Steve Brown said.

The RFU opted to take its official match-day hospitality in-house in September 2017, with Keith Prowse having previously served as its official hospitality agent.

The decision came after the RFU successfully secured planning permission to redevelop Twickenham, England’s national rugby stadium. The renovation of the East Stand at Twickenham will create an extra 11,600sqm of space for match-day hospitality.
