St Mirren Park undergoes rebrand

St Mirren Park, home of Scottish Premiership football club St Mirren, has been rebranded as the Simple Digital Arena.

St Mirren has agreed a six-figure, four-year deal with office solutions company Simple Digital to rename the stadium, which has a capacity of 8,000.

St Mirren’s commercial manager Campbell Kennedy said: “I’m delighted to have agreed this deal with Simple Digital and look forward to working with Simple Group’s chairman, Vincent Moore over the next four years. It represents a significant level of income and will be important for the club as we get set to embark on our Premiership journey next season.”

Next season will mark St Mirren’s return to the top-tier Premiership after the club won the Championship title in 2017-18.

St Mirren Park opened in 2009.

Simple Group managing director Andy Taylor added: “Personally it’s fantastic, in terms of being a St Mirren diehard, but also great for the company. We feel that there is a local community touch with the club, and there is a local touch with us as well in terms of our customer base.

“We also provide to the whole of the UK, but we are a very local type feeling company, so we think the fit is fantastic for both and we look forward to working together over a four-year period initially.”
