INDUSTRY APPOINTMENTS ROUND-UP: JUNE 23-29

A round-up of key appointments from within the sports and events industries over the past week.

Holly Limpkin has been promoted to the position of director of ticketing at London’s The O2. She joined the arena’s staff as senior event ticketing manager in 2013 and became head of ticketing a year later.

Exhibition Centre Liverpool has expanded its sales team with the new appointment of Colm Graham, who joins the waterfront venue as senior exhibition account manager. He joins from Eikon Exhibition Centre, Belfast, where he was sales and events manager for seven years.

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) has announced the appointment of Carolyn Johnson to the newly-created position of director of marketing and communications. Johnson joins MCEC from Hostplus, where she was head of marketing, having previously held a number of senior marketing positions with premium brands including Pacific Brands and Crown Resorts.
