Spanish LaLiga football club Girona has revealed plans to further expand its stadium having secured its position in the top division for a second season.
Girona expanded the Estadi Montilivi from 9,200 seats to 13,500 for its first season in LaLiga in 2017-18 and will now add a further 1,000 seats for the 2018-19 campaign.
The extra seating will be provided in the Gol Sud end of the ground, with 300 places assigned to members, 400 for corporate boxes and a further 300 for general sale.
The expanded stand will occupy land owned by the University of Girona, with whom the club has reached an agreement.
