Saracens set out innovative Allianz Park travel plans

English Premiership rugby union champions Saracens has this week announced details of a partnership with on-demand coach service Zeelo as it seeks to offer fans a new way of travelling to home games at Allianz Park.

Zeelo uses an AI powered-platform to identify where there are large numbers of fans that have a difficult journey to home games.

After analysing results from the ‘RINA’ platform, Zeelo then provides executive coaches for the fans to travel to the venue.

The club ran a number of ‘Saracens Express’ trials at the London Stadium and Premiership Final last season, and after these proved successful, will now offer the service to fans throughout the 2018-19 campaign.

Saracens fans can travel on existing and new Saracens Express routes from over 20 locations across Hertfordshire and Essex, with the option to purchase tickets for single games or a season ticket.

Single-game tickets start at £14 (€16/18) while a season ticket can be as cheap as £145.

In addition, fans will have access to live vehicle tracking to help locate their coach.

Tim Hunt, chief executive of Premier Team Promotions the joint venture that now heads commercial operations at Saracens, said: “The support of fans in the stadium is imperative to the success of the team on the pitch and we’re hoping that these new services will mean even more fans are able to easily visit Allianz Park to support the team and drive us to further success next season.”

Barney Williams, co-founder at Zeelo added: ‘Getting to Allianz Park on match day can be a real challenge for some fans with many facing awkward changes or expensive costs on public transport.

“We want to give as many Saracens fans the opportunity to cheer on their team on the day so that they can enjoy the matchday experience.”
