Bills target fan experience with Rally deal

NFL American football team the Buffalo Bills has moved to enhance the game-day experience for fans at New Era Field by partnering with bus rideshare app Rally.

The agreement will provide Bills fans with crowd-powered travel to New Era Field (pictured) on game days, with Rally to serve as the team’s official fan shuttle.

Rally will provide shared bus rides for fans from across Western New York to games and other events at the stadium, starting with the Bills’ opening pre-season game against the Carolina Panthers on August 9.

“Beginning this season, Bills fans will have another transportation option that will help simplify their enjoyment of the gameday experience,” Erica Muhleman, executive vice president of business development at Pegula Sports and Entertainment, which operates the Bills, said.

“Rally will give our fans another way to enjoy New Era Field’s exciting tailgating atmosphere, along with the game action, along with a pre-arranged ride home. This service will be a great benefit to Bills fans this season and beyond.”

To use Rally, fans can download the app or go to http://rally.co and select an event they wish to attend. A number of pickup locations are then provided, along with booking options. Rally buses are fitted with Wi-Fi, video screens, toilets, comfortable bucket seats and storage, and typically arrive at the stadium three hours before kickoff to allow fans to tailgate ahead of the game.
